Editorial policy

United Living Guide aims to make household questions clear without pretending there is one correct arrangement for every home. We explain the reasoning behind suggestions and label material that has a commercial relationship.

Accuracy and clarity

We check wording, internal consistency and the scope of each piece before publication. Articles should make clear what is a general suggestion, what depends on a household's preferences and what readers may need to agree among themselves. We do not invent sources, figures or experience. If a subject requires professional, official or locally specific guidance, we do not present a general article as a substitute.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage or favorable treatment.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review clear, relevant correction requests and amend published wording when warranted. Significant changes should be identified in the article so readers can understand what was corrected.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrations are not evidence, photographs of a real household or a record of an actual event.

Our point of view

Shared homes need clear agreements

A good arrangement is one everyone can understand and revisit. We focus on concrete choices, not a single ideal way to live together.
